As a parent, I'm used to seeing my kids create fun objects out of their Legos or make a fort from all the blankets in their bedroom. I've helped with many school projects and received countless handmade mothers day cards...and kept every one! So, when I came across Instructables.com, I just had to share it with you! Not only is a great way to get your creative juices flowing, it's a "green" way as well.
It's basically a how-to website where people can post their own instructions about how to make just about anything. From pop-up valentines cards, to how to make a touch-screen tablet out of an old laptop. Learn how to make your very own giant marlin or a yummy new cupcake recipe. Whatever your crafty little heart desires, it's probably there. If you have an idea that you would like to share, you can submit instructions for your own projects, also.
It is a great site if you are looking for ways to reuse items that you can't bear to throw away. But, not just reuse them, reinvent them! Maybe get ideas for the kids when they are stuck inside on a rainy Saturday. And, even if you aren't into do-it-yourself stuff, it's still fun to see the crazy and creative things people come up with. Because you never know...one day you might want your very own giant cardboard marlin to hang proudly on your wall. Who wouldn't, right?
So, enjoy their site and have fun creating! Also, take a minute to check out our website at www.uniquitybuilders.com or simply scan the QR code below.
